“The Transformers: The role of local government in a digital world”, will be held in Geelong from 18-21 March 2018. We are expecting an audience of 300+ local government stakeholders from across Australia and around the world. Our guests include senior representatives from the local government ICT associations of New Zealand (ALGIM), the USA (GMIS), the UK (SOCITM), Canada (MISA), Belgium (V-ICT-OR), the Netherlands (VIAG) and Sweden (KommITS). Our colleagues from interstate will also join us in representing Australia at this special event.

This expanded version of the MAV Technology Annual Conference includes an outstanding two-day plenary program, an extensive trade exhibition, an official welcome reception, the formal Awards for Excellence Dinner, a Digital Collaboration & Leadership Workshop for Council CEOs (invitation only), an evening of networking at Little Creatures Brewery, walking tours of Deakin University’s Innovation Centre and the City of Greater Geelong’s Federal Mills Innovation Precinct and Smart City initiatives, plus a range of intensive masterclasses run by expert providers including Deloitte, Pitney Bowes, Telstra, Microsoft, Dell and more.
